1. Support Conditions - FULL Fellow
Your Fellowship package will cover the following:
a) Camp registration fees
b) Local accommodation
c) Local transportation fees
d) Roundtrip discount economy airfare
NOT EXCEEDING 1,000 USD
e) Breakfast, Lunch, Refreshments & Dinner provided during the Camp period

Airfare over 1,000 USD will not be covered under the fellowship package.
There are no exceptions to this condition.

1. Support Conditions - PARTIAL Fellow
Your Fellowship package will cover the following:
a) Camp registration fees
b) Local accommodation
c) Local transportation fees
d) Partial support of roundtrip discount economy airfare
NOT EXCEEDING 500 USD
e) Breakfast, Lunch, Refreshments & Dinner provided during the Camp period

Airfare over 500 USD will not be covered under the partial fellowship package.
There are no exceptions to this condition.

2. Registration
Fellows are not required to register in advance for the Camp.
3. Accommodation
Rihga Royal Hotel Hiroshima

Quad (four fellows sharing one room) accommodation will be provided at the Rihga Royal Hotel (the Camp venue). Room assignments will be made by the Secretariat.
Accommodation will be provided for five (5) nights:
July 11 (Sun.) check in (13:00)
July 16 (Fri.) check out (11:00)
[NOTE]
For all fellows, full participation in the Camp is a MUST. It is not possible to participate in only a portion of the Camp program. Please make your travel plans to match the dates above.
4. Meals
Breakfast: provided at the hotel from July 12 through July 16.
Lunch and refreshments: provided from July 12 through July 15.
Dinner: provided from July 12 through July 15.
All other meals are the responsibility of the fellow.
5. Getting to Hiroshima
Please read the
access information very carefully:
DO NOT arrange to fly into Narita International Airport (NRT) in Tokyo or Kansai International Airport (KIX) in Osaka. The cost of local transportation from these two airports to Hiroshima WILL NOT be supported.
From southern Asia please make arrangements to fly into Fukuoka International Airport (FUK). There are daily direct flights from most major airports in southern Asia.
Your arrival date should be July 11 (Sun.); your departure date, July 16 (Fri.)
[IMPORTANT]
Your flight information is required in order to complete the documents required for your visa application. When finalized please inform the Local Secretariat of your flight details immediately.
6. Visas
You will be required to apply for an entry visa to Japan at the Japanese Embassy or Consulate closest to you in your country. Depending on the country, this process can take up to FOUR WEEKS to complete.
The local Secretariat will prepare and post the visa documents your require for your application.
[IMPORTANT]
Please complete and return the visa information form IN FULL including your flight information. This form should be returned NO LATER THAN May 31, 2010.
7. Reimbursement of Travel Expenses
You are required to purchase your air ticket and to pay for local transportation to and from your arrival airport yourself. ALL fellows are required to submit a Camp Report to the APNG Secretariat by August 9, 2010. Upon receipt and confirmation of your report, the APNG Secretariat will refund your airfare and local transportation expenses.
8. Confirmation of Acceptance
Please read carefully ALL of the conditions of support above.
[IMPORTANT]
If you wish to accept the Camp Fellowship under these conditions,
please reply in confirmation to the Local Secretariat at the address below NO LATER THAN May 20, 2010. If your acceptance is not received by the deadline above, your fellowship will be canceled and assigned to another applicant.
